As seen from our report, Philly Pretzel Factory is an Industry Wide Cost Leader that fortunately has “low” results for all 5 categories in the “5 Forces Model''. Their structured process is sales and their dynamic process is marketing, and the information system that supports each process is the POS RT 7. This company has silo problems that affect ordering, inventory, social media marketing, and overall communication between the employees. To resolve these issues, our team recommends this company should update their POS system, create a stronger social media policy and a more active social media presence, and implement a system to make communication more fluid in the workplace.
